On Blank placard dance, replay

Before the performance of Blank placard dance, replay, Anne Collod led a workshop with participants for a group of twenty to forty amateurs. They worked on awareness of movement and postural organisation, group listening, and relationships with the environment. The participants got to know the historical, political and aesthetic dimensions of Anna Halprin’s work, reflected together on the notion of protest and how art can offer new ways and means for taking action.

Many workshops have been given to diverse groups of amateur dancers in France and internationally during the preparation of Blank placard dance, replay since 2016.
